Kisha Woodard-Washington is a resilient domestic violence survivor and passionate advocate committed to creating lasting change for vulnerable communities and dedicated to empowering others through both personal experience and professional impact.
A devoted mother of two daughters, Kisha has spent the past 14 years in the legal department at Teach For America, where she brings integrity, compassion, and a strong sense of justice to her work to ensure that one day, all children have the opportunity to attain an excellent education.
Excited to expand her impact, Kisha also volunteers with Directions Ministry, hoping to leverage the power of social media to raise awareness, share information, and connect the community to life-saving services.
